Welcome to the 2011 Challenge

The Ohio School Recycling Challenge is a friendly competition for Ohio K-12 schools to promote recycling to their students, staff, and communities. This competition is hosted by the Association of Ohio Recyclers in cooperation with our sponsors.

Over a 4-week period, schools will report recycling data that is used to rank the schools according to which recycled the most. Schools can use these rankings to see how their results compare against other schools and rally their students, staff, and communities to recycle more.

Registration for the competition will open on October 1, 2011. The competition will run from October 17 to November 12, 2011. Final results will be posted in early December.

Keep America Beautiful Recycle Bowl.  KAB is hosting “Recycle Bowl” a recycling competition with dates that coincide with those of Ohio School Recycling Challenge.  KAB and AOR have agreed to allow contestants in each competition to also join the other contest with no additional registration paperwork. KAB and AOR will automatically enter Ohio schools in both competitions and allow schools to compete for national as well as local recognition and prizes.  So, by joining the Ohio School Recycling Challenge you are automatically joining the KAB Recycle Bowl as well.
